I hope all is well there.

Snow! I could hardly believe it yesterday when I went outside. I knew there was a chance for 6-8” (I think we got closer to the lower end of that thankfully) but it was still a bit of a shock. It’s already about 40 degrees and sunny outside so I’m thinking that we’ll have slush and mud soon.

I’m thankful that we aren’t having the flooding problems that so many places are having. As it is I live on a ridge so the odds of it affecting my things are quite small (the ark would be built first!). I still hate to see all the pictures on TV of the damage that the high waters are doing to some places to the south and east of here.

After about a week of being tired and achy, I think I’m better. At least I’ve managed to get some things done this weekend which is good. There’s a long list of “to do’s” and if the weather had been nicer there would have been an even longer list. Spring cleaning is something I aspire to get done by May but I haven’t made much progress on that so far.

Work still is quite intense for me. This past week was another “hell week” where things just didn’t/couldn’t work with any plan – I did have two days out of the office with meetings which really complicated things. There just wasn’t enough time to get things done. This week, the trainee I’ve been working with will be out of the office. Hopefully that will give me some time to return calls (averaging about 30 calls a day) and e-mails and get some actual work done.

Well, I’d better get going,
Take care!

Hi,

I hope all is well there.

Saturday weather was great! Sixty degrees and sunny. Today was warm but the breeze made it feel much cooler and there wasn’t much for sun.

I’ve been feeling “under the weather”. Friday night I was chilled and achy, Saturday it was headaches, general aches, and feeling sick to my stomach. Today I’m just feeling really tired and worn out.

At work this past week, it was learning about customers who filed bankruptcies, moved without notifying us, sold things without permission, and calling up to tell us they were done and that we should take possession of the financed items. In short – it was a bummer.

I’ve been thinking about taking a trip somewhere. Money and getting time off work seem to be the main barriers.

Well, I’d better get going,
Take care!

Hi,

I hope everything is going well there.

The weather today was great! At least it hit about 50 degrees out there which was quite nice after the freezing and windy days last week. I had a nice long walk this afternoon – which was long overdue.

Work has been very hectic - lots of desperate people.

Well, my dog needs walking so I’d better get going.

Tomorrow I’m in Milwaukee for a Bucks vs. Boston Celtics basketball game. That should be interesting.

Best wishes and Take care!

Hope all is going well there.

We’re in the midst of rain downpours that are turning into sleet. It’s definitely getting colder. Our beautiful Thursday and Friday (with highs in the 60’s and sun!) gave way yesterday to rain, clouds, and more rain. It’s been foggy too. I know – it’s only March…another 3-5" of snow is expected tonight.

I am thankful that I have a job. It’s really scary out there for so many people. I’m not sure where this is going or how long it will last but this economy is a huge concern for everyone. I hope and pray that things get easier but I’m afraid that we may be in this for the long haul.

My daughter is in Dayton Ohio visiting friends she has known from her volunteer work with Americorp. She flew out of Madison Saturday morning and will return on Tuesday. It should be an interesting time as she will stay here with me for a few days (she’s on spring break now) and then return to school.

Well, I’d better get going. My dog needs walking.

Best wishes and Take Care!
